Kevin Hart sues YouTuber Tasha K & former assistant for extortion & defamation

Kevin Hart is taking legal action against cheating allegations made by his former assistant, Miesha Shakes, in an interview with YouTuber Latasha Kebe aka Tasha K. The complaint filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court claims that Tasha K demanded money from Hart, threatening to release an interview in which Shakes made damaging allegations against him. According to the complaint, Shakes worked for Hart’s company from August 2017 to October 2020. In the published interview, Shakes claimed that Hart had a gambling problem and an affair at his office that she told his wife Eniko about.

The lawsuit alleges civil extortion, invasion of privacy, breach of contract, and defamation.

Tasha K has a history of posting defamatory content about celebrities. In 2022, she lost a libel case against rapper Cardi B who was awarded $3.9 million in damages.
