Tennessee State University’s “Aristocrat of Bands” made history by becoming the first band to win a Grammy award for their album “The Urban Hymnal” which won Best Gospel Roots Album. The album was co-produced by songwriter/producer Dallas Austin, artist/songwriter Sir the Baptist, and TSU professor Larry Jenkins.
