Male producer sues Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and alleges sexual assault

A former employee of Sean “Diddy” Combs has filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and “grooming.” Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a former producer and videographer for Combs, filed a 73-page civil complaint in New York federal court. He alleges that Combs didn’t compensate him for his work, forced him to procure sex workers, and served alcoholic beverages laced with drugs at parties. Combs’ chief of staff, Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grainge, former Motown CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam, and Combs’ son, Justin, are also named as defendants. Jones seeks $30 million in damages. Combs’ attorney denied the allegations, calling Jones “a liar” and stating they have proof the claims are false.

Representatives for Justin Combs and others named in the suit also denied the allegations. The lawsuit alleges that Jones was a victim of constant unsolicited touching and groping by Combs. It further claims that Combs displayed firearms, talked about shootings, and intimidated Jones. Jones alleges that he has recordings of illegal activities involving Combs and others. The suit also accuses Combs of grooming, citing an incident where Combs allegedly encouraged Jones to watch someone engage in sex to ease his anxiety about homosexuality. Combs is also accused of liability for a sexual assault allegedly experienced by Jones by actor Cuba Gooding Jr. on a yacht rented by Combs. Gooding Jr. has not publicly commented on the complaint. Combs previously settled a lawsuit brought by his former girlfriend, singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, who alleged rape and repeated abuse. Combs denied wrongdoing but settled the suit. Combs stated he would fight the allegations against him.
