Carlee Russell has been found alive

According to the Hoover Police Department, Carlee Russell was found and returned home safely on July 15, two days after her disappearance. The police have been diligently investigating the case and retracing Carlee’s actions from the time she left The Colonnade until she called 911. However, at this point, they have not been able to locate anyone who was with Carlee during that time. Carlee returned home on foot and the authorities responded to the residence. She was then taken to UAB Hospital for evaluation and was later released. Detectives have taken an initial statement from Carlee, but the details of that statement are part of the ongoing investigation, which is expected to continue in the coming days. The investigators have been able to retrace most of Carlee’s steps until the point she went missing and are confident in their ability to continue doing so.
