Women’s College Basketball Sensation Milaysia Fulwiley Makes History on and off the Court

Undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks guard, Milaysia Fulwiley, is continuing to make her stamp in women’s basketball. Earlier this week Fulwiley not only inked a NIL deal to have her own special sauce with Mr. Seafood in her hometown but the freshman also received the SEC women’s basketball tournament MVP as the Gamecocks beat LSU for the title. She is the first freshman in South Carolina history to receive the SEC tournament MVP honor.

Fulwiley has now also become the first college athlete to sign with Curry Brand – founded by 4x NBA champion Stephen Curry. The Curry Brand is also operated under Under Armour. Per The State, she will wear Curry shoes for the remainder of her college basketball career on the court and also will be a brand ambassador for the brand. Fulwiley shared that she plans to be a ‘role model’ for other young girls to make a difference also in the game of basketball.
