Prosecutors in the United States have decided not to pursue a second trial for Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, who was found guilty of fraud and money laundering. Bankman-Fried has already been convicted of seven counts, including fraud and embezzlement. Prosecutors argued that a second trial would only cause delays and that the case against him is already strong. The 31-year-old is set to be sentenced on March 28 and could face up to 110 years in prison. Bankman-Fried is expected to file an appeal against his conviction.
