Ukraine sea drone attacks Russian ship

On Friday, Ukrainian sea drones carried out a daring attack on a major Russian naval base in the Black Sea, resulting in a damaged Russian warship listing heavily in the water. Social media videos showed the amphibious landing ship tilting badly as it was towed near Novorossiysk, Russia’s largest port. The attack comes amid escalating tensions in the region and increased Ukrainian strikes against Russian targets, following President Volodymr Zelensky’s promise to take the war to Russian territory. According to a Ukrainian source, the sea drone used in the attack carried nearly 1,000 pounds of TNT and hit the ship, causing serious damage and preventing it from fulfilling its duties. The operation was reportedly carried out jointly by the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy.
