Tamika Scott reveals the truth about her allegations on sister

The Xscape members have been in the headlines after the premiere of their Bravo hit reality show the Queens of R&B which is centered around the group joining with fellow girl group SWV to put on a joint tour. In the show’s first episode, Xscape sisters Tamika, LaTocha, and their mother got into an argument where Tamika revealed LaTocha and her husband stole over $30,000 of her royalty income. In the interview, Tamika provided more details about her claim on the show where she says Tiny’s mother, Mrs. Dianne, signed them up for SoundExchange which collects performance royalties on behalf of artists. After a few months passed, Mrs. Dianne called Tamika to follow up and make sure that she received her royalty check after Tiny had received hers which she stated she didn’t. This resulted in Mrs. Dianne investigating and placing her in contact with a company rep who oversaw the processing of payments and informed her that the checks were cashed. Tamika was able to receive the proof in the form of checks that included her forged signature being cached in LaTocha’s husband bank account. She was also made aware of the address change from the New York address that she had at the time to her mother’s address (where her sister and brother-in-law were living at the time).
