The Pittsburgh Steelers have parted ways with offensive coordinator Matt Canada following a season of offensive struggles. The team’s 6-4 record has been overshadowed by a negative point differential (-29), ranking 28th in points per game (16.6), 28th in offensive yards per game (280.1), and 31st in passing yards per game (170). Second-year quarterback Kenny Pickett is 25th in the NFL in passing yards and 28th in QBR. The decision comes after a 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns and comments from running back Najee Harris expressing concerns about the team’s style of play. Canada had been the Steelers’ offensive coordinator since 2021.
