Red Lobster CEO Damola Adamolekun will visit North Carolina A&T University on November 13 as part of the school’s Chancellor’s Speaker Series, which brings nationally recognized leaders to campus for thought-provoking dialogue.
At just 36 years old, Adamolekun is one of the youngest CEOs in the country and the youngest in Red Lobster’s history. Since his appointment in September 2024, he has led the brand’s recovery from bankruptcy and now oversees 544 locations across 44 states.
A graduate of Brown University and Harvard, Adamolekun previously served as CEO of P.F. Chang’s, guiding it through the pandemic to nearly $1 billion in revenue, and as a partner at Paulson & Co. with a focus on hospitality and healthcare investments.
Recognized for his leadership, he’s earned multiple Globee Awards, was named to Fortune’s 100 Most Powerful People in Business (2024), and appeared on Ebony’s 2025 Power 100 list.
His upcoming talk, titled “The CEO Edge – Commanding Every Opportunity,” will center on leadership, innovation, and navigating challenges in the modern business world, and is open to the public in Harrison Auditorium at 6 p.m.
