No response from North Korea on US soldier who crossed military border

North Korea has not responded to communication from the American military regarding the US soldier, Private Travis T. King, who crossed the heavily fortified border into North Korea during a tour of the Panmunjom truce village. King had been stationed in South Korea and was on his way to board a flight to Texas when he dashed across the Military Demarcation Line. The incident has heightened tension on the Korean peninsula, which has seen continued ballistic missile tests by North Korea. The US government is actively working to determine King’s status and ensure his safety and return. It appears that North Korea may be using King as a propaganda tool, but there has been no indication of their intentions or response yet. The incident is being closely monitored, and diplomatic efforts are underway through Sweden, which acts as a diplomatic channel for the US and North Korea.
