Justin Timberlake gets arrested, charged with DWI in Hamptons

Justin Timberlake was arrested early Tuesday morning in the Hamptons on charges of driving while intoxicated (DWI), confirmed by the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. According to the police report, Timberlake was observed failing to stop at a stop sign and not maintaining his lane while driving a BMW. Upon being pulled over, officers noted his bloodshot eyes, the smell of alcohol on his breath, and his poor performance on field sobriety tests.

Timberlake was arraigned at Sag Harbor Village Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. He admitted to officers that he had “one martini” and was on his way to a friend’s house when stopped. The singer, who refused a breath test, also received citations for running a stop sign and improper lane travel. Timberlake’s next court date is set for July 26.

Timberlake is currently on his “Forget Tomorrow World Tour” with upcoming shows in Chicago and New York City. His wife, Jessica Biel, was not present during the court appearance and is currently filming in New York City.
