Jackson State upsets Mizzou in final seconds of game

In a thrilling game, Jackson State secured their first win of the 2023 season against Mizzou with a last-minute shot by Chase Adams, making the final score 73-72. Despite Mizzou having a 71-65 lead with 1:17 remaining, Jackson State’s successful field goals tied the game in the final minute. Mizzou struggled with turnovers, giving up 18 that Jackson State turned into 26 points. Caleb Grill’s performance in the second half, including four three-point shots and an electrifying dunk, wasn’t enough to secure the win. Mizzou aims to bounce back in their upcoming game against South Carolina State on Wednesday night at Mizzou Arena.
