Georgia prosecutors have messages proving Trump’s team was behind 2021 voting system breach

Atlanta-area prosecutors investigating efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia have uncovered text messages and emails connecting members of Donald Trump’s legal team to the voting system breach in Coffee County in January 2021. The breach was suspected to be orchestrated by Trump’s team to access sensitive voting software as part of the broader push to support baseless claims of widespread fraud. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is expected to seek charges against more than a dozen individuals, including those involved in the Coffee County breach, when presenting the case before a grand jury. Among those under scrutiny are former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani and fellow Trump lawyer Sidney Powell.
