Eminem requests protective order against RHOP Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon

Eminem is seeking a protection order against “The Real Housewives of Potomac” stars Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon in their ongoing trademark dispute. The reality stars filed for the trademark of their podcast “Reasonably Shady,” contested by Eminem, who owns the “Shady” trademark. After disputing the trademark, in October, Gizelle and Robyn requested Eminem to appear in court for a deposition. In response, Eminem requested a protection order against the reality stars.

His team claimed that his appearance in court for a deposition would be burdensome as he has “limited knowledge of the subject at issue” and suggested three alternative people as options, including his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg. The reality stars’ attorney Andrea Evans expressed a desire to question Eminem about his use of “Slim Shady” and “Shady” but noted uncertainty about being the trademark owner, file a suit against her clients, but “will not make himself available to be deposed.”
