Deion Sanders condemns death threats against Henry Blackburn as ‘Travis has forgiven him’

Colorado coach Deion Sanders confirmed that star player Travis Hunter is out for an upcoming game against Oregon due to a lacerated liver sustained in a hit by Colorado State’s Henry Blackburn. Hunter ultimately suffered a lacerated liver on the hit by Blackburn during Saturday’s game and was released from the hospital on Monday. Sanders also condemned the death threats against Blackburn, saying that no one deserves such threats over a football game, and that he, Colorado, and Travis have forgiven Blackburn for the incident. Colorado State athletic director Joe Parker confirmed that university police and local authorities are investigating the threats against Blackburn, which included the publication of his and his mother’s contact information and addresses.
