Travis Hunter, the two-way star for Colorado, left a game against Colorado State after taking a hard sideline hit in the first half. Coach Deion Sanders mentioned that he had no update on Hunter’s condition after the game but stated that the “first thing I heard is he’s going to be out a few weeks.” Hunter was taken to the hospital for evaluation during the third quarter. The hit occurred during the second quarter and resulted in two fouls against Colorado State: pass interference and unsportsmanlike conduct. Hunter returned to the game but was later transported to the hospital. He is a key player for the Buffaloes, playing on both offense and defense.
