Defensive tackle Chris Jones has ended his holdout by agreeing to terms on a new one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. The contract includes incentives that could allow him to earn more than his scheduled $19.5 million for the season under his old contract. Jones had been seeking an upgraded deal and did not report to training camp. His return is a significant development for the Chiefs as they look to bolster their defense and make another Super Bowl run. Jones should be available to play in the Chiefs’ upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
