Tasha K, the blogger who was ordered to pay Cardi B $3.9 million in a defamation lawsuit, has offered to settle the debt by proposing a repayment plan. Tasha K filed for bankruptcy after Cardi B started garnishing her wages to collect the awarded amount. Tasha K’s proposed plan suggests paying $220,000 over 20 quarters, which would be distributed to unsecured creditors, including Cardi B. Tasha K’s bankruptcy petition listed her assets in the $50,000 to $100,000 range, while her liabilities were in the $1 million to $10 million range. The bankruptcy put Cardi B’s collection efforts on hold, but she has filed a lawsuit within the bankruptcy to prevent the $3.9 million judgment from being discharged, arguing that Tasha K’s malicious actions led to the debt. Cardi B will have the opportunity to approve or deny Tasha K’s proposed repayment plan.
